Good and important info. As a kidney transplant patient I was told to avoid heavy lifting or intense exercise at the gym for 24-48 hours before testing to ensure my creatinine had an opportunity to stabilize before the testing so it doesn’t appear I am spiraling into acute rejection.
I really enjoy your articles! You can also check out my latest posts below. They're all genuine exchanges and expressions of appreciation. Their encouragement keeps me motivated! I think it's great feedback for my growth.
A surgeon one during an orientation party for new students in a medical college told us that; You are still young people and well nourished because you are fed on murram . This he referred to beans and posho,it looked brown like a murram road.
"This is healthy food, he said, we used to complain when we were students like you".Now we have a ' D' shape abdomen because of eating bread and butter, milk, animal products etc.and we are no longer healthy".That was a Surgeon.
I have been impressed by your analysis of kidney health regarding protein consumption.
What I knew was that excessive protein consumption of animal products can lead to production of harmful LDL (Low density Lipoprotein)as opposed to useful HDL (High density a Lipoprotein) to the body tissues. This is duet consumption of red meat containing cholesterols leading to accumulation of fats in the muscles, overweight, obesity,Hypertension hence complicating the functions of internal organs especially the kidneys.
But protein generally is not harmful in optimal amounts.
While protein intake is always recommended to build muscle mass, few consider the risks, and on the other hand, you shouldn't avoid protein diets for fear of increasing kidney problems.
As a person who works out quite a lot I thought that your article was very interesting :)
I have lived with one kidney for 6 years now. I can’t take advil, ibuprofen, alieve and most decongestants. My kidney function is right on the line of medically acceptable for people with two kidneys. My question has always been - why don’t we know that those drugs obviously have an adverse impact on our kidneys.
I went to the company doctor to have my blood tested: creatinine high because of creatine consumption.
She suggested we test my kidneys - perfectly fine. But since my blood pressure is slightly elevated, she advised me to stop using creatine. I did that for a while, but might get back to it, when it shows no improvement.

Thank you!
Agreed, it’s important to look at the individual factors and not get caught up in potentially misleading correlations.
Thank you. That was a good piece you produced. I appreciate it because it keeps the universe informed about their health.
It was indeed a true, accurate result about your analysis .
I advice you could study a sample of more individuals both sportsmen and non sportsmen.and make the analysis to compare the results.
This can attract more attenttion from scientific research.
Thank you.

Exactly! Thanks, Antoine.

We should definitely be better informed on this topic.
Your experience sounds very familiar to me.
