Letters From Aster's avatar

Ok, there's a lot of practical advice here that will be immensely helpful to me and I thank you for sharing it.

Thanks a lot Aster for your nice and valuable comment!

That is a lot of great advice.

Here is the problem for most: their psychological and spiritual learned believes hold them back from seeing it through.

Hey Paul, thanks for your comment.

I agree, that’s why I also chose to include a section about the mental aspect of time management.

Your doing amazing work here Tobias, I love it.

Thank you Paul!

Dear, I would love to read your writing but I can't do in one go.

Tobias Winkler's avatar

Thank you, Ailain!

The good thing is, the articles will be here for a long time, so be sure to take your time. :)

There's some really good stuff here, Tobias! Some of it doesn't really work well for me, but people are different! I'm looking forward to digging deeper into your content.

Tobias Winkler's avatar

Thanks Brent! That’s true, not everybody is the same, hence why I tried to include as many different methods as possible. :)

I appreciate you!

Tons of good stuff here, Tobias! I loved seeing "always substract first" in there. Struggling to get those 10k steps in.

What are your favourite and the hardest one in your opinion?

Tobias Winkler's avatar

Thanks for your reply Renato!

As for the steps, I might have some tips 😉

- Park further away from grocery stores, events, restaurants etc.

- Don't fill up your water bottle all the way. That way you automatically need to get up more often.

- If possible, get an underdesk threadmill + standing desk. That has been a game changer for me!

- Try to sprinkle in walks during the day. Helps with digestion, thoughts, and just slowing down in the middle of a busy day.

For me personally, my favorite is probably is to generally keep life simple, like with the "same 5-10" meals rule. It's underrated how much time we waste overthinking stuff!

As for hardest, confusing important things with urgent things (Eisenhower matrix) is what I am still improving on.

Appreciate your comment!

This was packed with so much good stuff, but a few things I wanted to comment on:

"Always subtract first before adding a new system."

Such an underrated reminder, especially during this time of year when resolutions tend to unravel, often because people stack up all these new intentions without deciding what they’re willing to put down.

"Use AI to give you questions, not summaries."

Love this reframing. It keeps AI as a sparring partner for thinking, not a replacement for it.

And "move unhealthy snacks to a hidden place" made me laugh because I immediately pictured some secret snack portal overflowing with forgotten chips and cookies.

Love this 😊

One change I made whenever I needed to tackle something, but kept putting off, is write a note on what I wanted/needed to do and make it my phone's Lock screen. This way, it was the first thing I saw whenever I picked up my phone and constantly reinforced the idea in my mind.
